Matt Bush is an award winning professional photojournalist based in Hattiesburg South Mississippi. He was a formerly a staff photojournalist with the Hattiesburg American- a Gannett Newspaper. He was the recipient of the 2009 and 2010 Mississippi Associated Press Photo of the Year award and the 2009 and 2010 Mississippi Better Newspaper Photo of the Year Award along with countless AP, APME and BNC awards. He has experience in covering all types of stories ranging from Immigration raids, hometown features, disasters to championship sporting events and long format photo essays.
As well as providing still photographs from events he is well versed in multimedia journalism and video production.
His Agency freelance work includes ZUMA Press, Cal Sport Media, Gannett News Services, UPI and the Associated Press
